Magick TV begins: Witch School Launches Reality Show

Imagine a world in which Harry Potter's Hogwarts was a real place and you could learn to do wondrous things. Such is the goal of Witch School and it strives daily to create this dream. Starting this Friday the 13th, you can share in their adventures and struggles with their own Internet reality show Living the Wiccan Life on the website Magick.tv. This show will follow the members of the world famous Witch School staff and their friends around the world while they seek to awaken and create a new world where magick exists.

Originally, a Witch School based reality show was a SciFi Channel Project and was announced in January at the Television Critic's Association Tour as an unscripted documentary. After discussions and meetings, it became apparent that Witch School would not develop a game show, and that the real world of Witches did not seem a good fit for Sci-Fi. With a lot of positive support, Witch School International CEO Don Lewis decided that they would take it independent and create a show that explores the real magickal community, not only focusing on Wiccans but also on all parts of the Pagan and Mystic world. Living the Wiccan Life was the answer and it would be produced by WSI's in-house Internet television site.

Starting July 13th, Living the Wiccan Life will air with the host Lady Krystel. She authored the one-year Witch School class of the same name, and is the First Priestess Emeritus of the Correllian Nativist Wiccan Tradition. She is also a professional psychic and lifelong student and teacher of the arcane arts. As hostess and producer Lady Krystel will offer insight about the magickal world and offer tips on how to personally explore the unseen spirit realms.

For some background, Witch School has been operating since 1998 and opened their WitchSchool.com website on Sept. 4th, 2001. Over the past four years, this small community has been trying to work and survive in Hoopeston, Illinois, but was finally pushed out economically and socially by the local daily paper and Christian fundamentalist led City Council. In a startling change of events, the small town of Rossville offered the school a second chance, and it is at this point that Living the Wiccan Life begins, as the staff and friends of Witch School International begin to rebuild their dream.

The show itself will be a series of 10-12 minute episodes, each covering a single subject or idea, along with what is happening at the school, events across the world and Pagan celebrations. The website Magick.tv will be a portal, but Youtube will be used to stream the video to potentially over a billion viewers worldwide. After the initial Friday showing, new episodes will be produced on at least a weekly basis to explore the growing and fascinating world of Magic, witches, and witchcraft. Producers already plan to cover The St. Louis Pagan Picnic and also spend the week of Halloween in Salem Massachusetts.
