Science: New Theory of the Universe Suggests that Space Moves

Posted on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 - 10:00 PM

A new book by West Coast high tech consultant John Palacio suggests that the fabric of space itself is capable of movement. The implications of Palacio's "Kinetic Space Theory: The Solution to Gravity and other Puzzles in Theoretical Physics" lead to solutions to some of modern science's most classic puzzles including a solution for the puzzle of gravity.

New Theory of the Universe Suggests that Space Moves

Ever since inconsistencies began to appear between the two major pillars of theoretical physics, quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity, physicists have pursued a "Theory of Everything" (T.O.E.) with a fervor reminiscent of knights searching for the Holy Grail. The T.O.E as described by Brian Greene, author of The Elegant Universe, is "the ultimate explanation of the universe at its most microscopic level." String theory is a well-publicized current example of a T.O.E. Now, a new T.O.E. has been proposed in a book just published by Globulus Communications of Calabasas, CA.

According to Kinetic Space Theory: The Solution to Gravity and other Puzzles in Theoretical Physics by John Palacio, the fabric of space itself is capable of movement. The theory's author is a high-tech consultant who has also periodically taught classes in Video Engineering and related subjects for UC Santa Cruz, Vanderbilt and other colleges. John Palacio credits the inspiration for his theory to his experience working with and teaching about advanced technologies.

"All traveling waves cause the media through which they travel to move," says Palacio. "Traveling through empty space, light is supposed to be the single exception to this rule but if it is not an exception, then space must be capable of movement. And if the fabric of space itself is able to move ... in currents and in waves, then some of the most perplexing puzzles in astronomy, chemistry and theoretical physics suddenly become solvable.

"The key to understanding moving space is through its impedance to movement. Video and computer network engineers are very familiar with different types of electrical impedance. Once a connection is established between space and electricity, the principles that apply to electron flow may be applied to moving space.

"Space cannot instantaneously move from one point to the next. Impelled to move, space initially compresses instead. It is the alternate compression of space and its subsequent movement away from compression that explains the action of space waves. And, since space waves are electromagnetic radiation, their actions enable electricity and magnetism to be defined in terms of the properties of kinetic space. Electric flux is spatial compression. Magnetic flux is spatial momentum. This connection leads to solutions for the constancy of the speed of light, galactic red shifts, the photoelectric effect, black body radiation curves, atomic structure, chemical reactivity, the quantization of energy and ultimately gravity.

"Given movable space, one by one, classic scientific mysteries fall by the wayside and with them, some of science's most time-honored theories collapse. The Big Bang never happened. Relativity is wrong. Electrons are specific quantities of compressed space, made specific by the factors that limit spatial movement. The bonds that link atoms are powered by inflowing gravitational space, drawn in by atoms that are continuous spatial oscillators. Each assertion follows from a previous one and each leads to precise values for fundamental physical constants such as the speed of light, Planck's constant and the charge on the electron."

According to Palacio, "The present scientific representation of the physical universe is a patchwork of individual and, in some instances, contradictory theories. What has been lacking is a single consistent conceptual framework capable of explaining the nature of all matter and energy. Kinetic Space Theory provides this framework. This theory lays the foundation for ideas and inventions that have only been hinted at in the most imaginative science fiction."
