| A new print-on-demand version of the "New Testament" has been released that is translated from Aramaic, the language spoken in Israel during Jesus' time, instead of Greek. Many scholars believe that much, if not all, of the "New Testament" was originally written in Aramaic.
"New Testament" Translated From Aramaic
The Original Aramaic New Testament in Plain English is the New Testament translated from a version that was written in the language of Jesus and his countrymen of 1st century Israel. Aramaic was used in Mel Gibson's film The Passion of the Christ to make the film as realistic and accurate as possible. This New Testament will surprise and thrill the reader with its power and inspiration coming from an idiomatic translation of the words of "Eesho" ("Jesus" in ancient Aramaic) as He originally spoke them in a literal English rendering. Much evidence is presented demonstrating that The Peshitta Aramaic NT is the original behind The Greek NT. There are many graphics and even photos from the Dead Sea Scrolls to illustrate an Aramaic verse and how a reading was interpreted by a Greek translating the text. The translation has many illustrations of the original New Testament in Dead Sea Scroll Hebrew letters compared with Greek readings and English translation of each. There are textual notes in each NT book. 626 pages.
The book is currently available at www.aramaicnt.com as a downloadable pdf file for your computer, or as printed paperback or hardbound editions. There is also a two volume set available in coil binding for the Four Gospels in volume 1 and Acts to Revelation in volume 2.
