Impulse
by Marat Zakharin

The above oil painting is called "Impulse," and was painted by Marat Zakharin, a Russian born artist who now lives in Israel. Zakharin says of his art in general: "My understanding of life is based on my penetration of hidden worlds. I strive to achieve the verity through the prism of matter, emotions, feelings and thoughts. Other dimensions are close to us and we can connect with them when our purity becomes as in childhood.
"My paintings are the windows into different realities. One can see one's inner world through them and find one's own path to God. Through the process of creation I try to be aware of cosmic consciousness, absence of limits, and free myself from the limitations of the material body and liberate the imprisoned mind within the body.
"Endlessness, Unity and Love are the colors of my Soul that are on the canvas."
Marat has agreed to share some of his painting with us and we will be featuring a different painting each month for the next six months or so.
He says that "Impulse," this month's featured painting, "purifies higher aspects of the energy body. It begins from reconnection with one's Higher Self, then broadens abstract vision and, in the end, opens awareness of oneself as individuality. Affects 7th, 6th and 5th chackras."
