Did We Choose Our Parents Before We Were Born?
When Mother's Day rolls around, do you find yourself thinking that if you could choose any mom in the world, you would choose the one you have? That's exactly what authors Robert Schwartz and Rebecca Whitecotton think you did - before you were even born. And if you chose a mom who pushes all your emotional buttons, or even a mother who abandoned you, they think you chose her for a reason.

Turning Fear into Love: Messages from the Keepers
by Leslee J. Klinsky
I have been channeling messages from the Akashic Records throughout my life, assisting others on their precious journeys and using the guidance of the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones myself. Now I am being encouraged to bring forth information taken from question and answer sessions that may benefit those not familiar with channeled work or the Akashic Records. Information in this article comes from a channeled session that deals with a method to work with fearful feelings, and the very nature of following its process is transformative.

by Michael - LightLounge Guy
"The eyes are the windows of the soul." Logically, to take that proverb literally you would have to believe in the soul. For me, though, it happened the other way around. I didn't have a clue about spiritual matters other than my religion didn't fulfill me, but that's another story. My ideas changed about spirituality when I saw something flickering in the eyes of a stranger. The best I can describe it is that lights were in the eyes.

Communicating with Plants
by Bob Makransky
excerpted from the book Magical Living
Plants' experience of being in the world is very different from the experience of us animals. Because plants cannot move about, they exist in a state of profound acceptance and peace within themselves. Emotions such as fear, hate, jealousy, possessiveness, etc. are wholly unknown to plants and would serve no useful purpose. On the other hand, plants are capable of experiencing a wide range of higher emotions the like of which we animals could scarcely conceive.

Walking Between Worlds
by Leslee J. Klinsky
I feel the familiar swirling halo of warmth around the whole of my body as I sit comfortably on a puffy couch in my living room. The embracing warmness beckons me to succeed this time; I feel its smile. White clouds begin to well up ten feet in the distance—Cirrus-type—gently sweeping in a wisp, like the exhaust from a group of smoldering extinguished ember tips. Solid objects that once poke through the ambiguous cloudiness now fragment and disperse. The door in the distance, pictures on the hallway walls and the ever-present beige carpeting vanish lazily as I watch mesmerized in a three-quarter trance.

The Ark, the Shroud, and Mary
by Philip Gardiner
Author of The Ark, the Shroud, and Mary |
|
The journey to discover the Ark of the Covenant has been taken by a great many people over time. It is a quest that does not differ from the search for the Holy Grail or the lost city state of Atlantis, and the reason for this is apparent in that nobody has yet discovered any real archaeological artifacts to prove its existence. This is about to change. Please keep in mind that I cannot explain the full extent of the research in the book in this short article, but here is a taster.
