Hope For World's Financial Institutions?
by Bill Draffen
I am a retired computer engineer and an amateur psychic investigator, so I
encounter angel stories regularly, both from interviews and published materials.
If it is true that seemingly unrelated events cast shadows of coming events - then
an apparition on a Montgomery, Alabama bank building of what appeared to be Mary (the Blessed
Mother) is cause for some interesting speculation. This Montgomery visit was the second
apparition on a financial institution. The first occurred when Her silhouette mysteriously
appeared on a bank building in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr. Strange - Exclusively On AlternativeApproaches.com!
Where Were You When the World Ended?
The other night, while sipping a brain food smoothie and watching stereoscopic TV pictures from the surface of Mars on CNN, I had a sudden realization. It wasn't at first exactly a thought, more like a sensation so intense I thought I'd swallowed a block of smoothie ice and my brain had frozen. Desperately, I groped for the image behind the sensation.
What I came up with was an old illustration in a science fiction magazine: Ray Bradbury's ethereal Martians windsurfing on the salt lakes of old Mars. And then it really hit me. I was living in the future...

The Pagan Christ: Putting The Fun Back In Fundamentalism
This Thanksgiving, I had the opportunity to announce to my fundamentalist relatives that Christianity was in fact a dead religion, or at least dying. Curiously, this didn't provoke the reaction it would have just a few years ago. Even the most fundie of Christian mentalist have begun to suspect that something is wrong with their religion.

Hope for the Future - The Emergence of the World Teacher
by Sheila Forester
At the dawning of every new age, a great teacher is sent into the world to inaugurate that age and set in motion ideas which will lead humanity into its next step of spiritual development. Over 2,600 years ago, it was prophesized by Gautama Buddha that at the beginning of our current age a teacher would come into the world. A Buddha, like himself, would inspire and guide humanity into the creation of a brilliant golden civilization based on unity, justice and sharing. Now, in fact, all major religions are expecting the coming of a great one, though they call him by different names. The Christians await the Christ; Jews the Messiah; Hindus are looking for Krishna; Buddhists anticipate Buddha; and Muslims are awaiting the Imam Mahdi. Many believe these are different names for the same individual. Students of esoteric tradition know him as Lord Maitreya, and they, too, expect his imminent emergence.

The Great Mouse Hunt
by Christine Hall
Here in rural North Carolina the mice are brown, fat, furry and cute, not like the dirty-looking gray mice that live in urban areas. They're also a constant problem. They come inside from the tobacco and alfalfa fields that surround our old house, especially in the fall when they're attracted by the warmth.

Transmission Meditation
by Sheila Forester
Many of us would agree that a great spiritual transformation is taking place on our planet. Millions of people are awakening to the reality that we are not just our physical selves, and beginning to discover and nuture our divine, spiritual aspect. We are taking our spirituality into our own hands and seriously searching for ways to bring more love, peace and wisdom into our lives. In this process we recognize that two great “royal roads” towards spiritual growth are meditation and service. It is with joy that I share with you a form of meditation which brings these two activities – meditation and service – into one dynamic endeavor. That form of meditation is Transmission Meditation. It combines two great yogas; laya yoga, the yoga of service and karma yoga, the yoga of the chakras. Either one is an effective agent in spiritual advancement; together they are incredibly powerful.

15 Suggestions That ReMind and Reduce Stress
by Dr. Darryl Pokea
- Be good to yourself taking a few minutes in the morning to meditate. Sit quietly. Focus on healing scenery outside, sounds of nature or the sounds of life of people going about their tasks. Observe the peaceful rhythm of your breathing and the rhythms of life around you. Weather permitting take a slow quiet walk. Relax and eat breakfast slowly. Any task can be a relaxing meditation including showering, brushing of teeth, etc. just do it mindfully.
- While warming your car, pay attention to your breathing. Realize your breathing is always with you as you begin your public day. Let it be full and relaxed.
- When driving, let go of body tension. Let the rhythms and vibrations of the car and road replace body tensions such as shoulders raised, stomach tight, hands too tight gripping the steering wheel.

Gratefulness and Prosperity
by Dr. Darryl Pokea
We are living in times of radical paradigm shifts where the bias and meaning of our words, themselves, are being questioned, sometimes denied, and frequently ignored in our busy life style. Misconceptions about prosperity are frequent and too often associated with wealth. Gratitude is not commonly practiced, but its absence frequently complained about. For me, gratitude and prosperity may be viewed as interconnected states of being. When our minds are resonating with gratitude the gate is fully opened to the flow of prosperity.
