Last month on Jerusalem Day and in line with the Hebrew calendar, Israelis remembered the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War and their capture of East Jerusalem, including the prized Old City. On the Roman calendar, Thursday, June 7th marks the same event. While there is little acknowledgment of that date in Israel, the Palestinians mark their considerable loss, known as al-Naksa ("the setback"), one day earlier.

Jan Grzewski fell into a coma back when Poland was behind the Iron Curtain. Recently he awoke to a much changed country and world.
Man wakes from coma after 19 years
Jan Grzewski, 65, a former railroad worker from Poland was attaching two rail cars in 1988 and was severely injured after a train car ran him over, causing him to fall into a coma. 19 years later, Grzewski has awoken from his coma.

Research has found that the book of Genesis contains hidden instructions for tuning an ancient musical instrument. It was found that Genesis Chapter 5 contained information on audible frequencies (Hz) hidden as the ages of ancient Biblical figures including Adam, Noah and the Bible’s oldest man, Methusalah.

According to a study published in the June 1 issue of Science, humans may have learned to walk upright while gathering fruit from trees. The study suggests that we may be more closely related to orangutans than to chimps and gorillas.

By observing wild orangutans, a research team has found that walking on two legs may have arisen in relatively ancient, tree-dwelling apes, rather than in more recent human ancestors that had already descended to the savannah, as current theory suggests.
