Witch School Names Board of Directors, Faces Major Challenges
In the battle for religious equality and recognition, Witch School International, Inc. has taken a major step forward by electing its first Chairman and Board of Directors. A collaborative study by biologists in Israel, the U.S, France and Germany has found that evolution is not a random process, but rather occurs through the natural selection of successful traits. The findings confirm the mechanism of natural selection behind Darwin’s theory of evolution.
New Findings Confirm Darwin's Theory: Evolution Not Random
According to Darwin’s theory of evolution, individuals in a species pass successful traits onto their offspring through a process called “deterministic inheritance.” Over multiple generations, advantageous developmental trends – such as the lengthening of the giraffe’s neck – occur.

Stakeholders Come Together to Address Northern Right Whale Regulations

Rev. Jay Bakker, son of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, to join "American Family Outing" to create dialogue between evangelical Christians and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender families.
LGBT Families Ask Six Mega-churches "Can We Talk?"
This winter, as the Rev. Joel Osteen graces the pages of People Magazine, the familiar image of the old-school, anti-gay televangelist is rapidly being replaced by a new iconography: a younger generation of mega-church leaders with upbeat and inviting messages. Unfortunately, while this generation's tone may seem less harsh, many of their mega-churches still enforce policies of exclusion and teach theologies that label Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people as sick, sinful, and in need of change.

Expedition to Everest with the sons of the original climbers. Film includes Peter Hillary's poignant call to Sir Edmund from the summit
Special Encore of "Surviving Everest" to Commemorate the Life of Sir Edmund Hillary
Sir Edmund Hillary, a former beekeeper from Auckland, New Zealand, along with Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, was first to reach the summit of Mount Everest. In celebration of his remarkable life, the National Geographic Channel (NGC) will air a special one-hour encore of the critically acclaimed special Surviving Everest this Saturday, January 12, at 10 PM ET/PT. The special takes viewers on a remarkable journey back to the summit with the sons of celebrated Everest climbers, including Hillary's son Peter, Jamling Norgay and Brent Bishop (son of Barry Bishop, a National Geographic explorer and a member of the first American team to achieve the summit). Following the same routes pioneered by their fathers decades ago, the National Geographic 50th Anniversary Everest Expedition attempts a perilous double-route ascent to meet at the top.
