The "OM Fund" is a new partnership fund of the International Campaign for Tibet. It has been formed to address the need for educational and housing facilities for Tibetan Buddhist nuns living in India.

How much about the world of wizards and witches do you know? At the Midwest's largest pagan event, the St. Louis Pagan Picnic, two leading schools will be testing the knowledge of their students and all comers, as part of the Wizards and Witches Trivia Tournament. This contest will be the first of its kind, and open to the public.

Wizards and Witches to Meet in St. Louis

Oberon Zell of Grey School and Don Lewis of Witch School have agreed to a trivia contest about all things magickal to test their students and all comers. They plan to meet on June 13th & 14th at the St. Louis Pagan Picnic, held at Tower Grove Park. The St. Louis Pagan Picnic is the largest pagan gathering in the Midwest, and brings together thousands for a weekend of friendship, fellowship, entertainment, teaching and merchants. The Wizards and Witches Trivia Tournament will be just one of the many parts to this wonderful event, but for the students of Grey School and Witch School, it is a highly anticipated one.

The field of natural medicine attained a new voice this month with the "International Journal of Naturopathic Medicine," a first of its kind, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a benchmark to the international medical community.

Practitioners of natural medicine attained a new voice June 1 with the launch of the International Journal of Naturopathic Medicine (IntJNM). IntJNM is meant to provide doctors with a high-quality peer-reviewed journal to further the evidence base of the profession that is dedicated to disease prevention, treatment, and health promotion using natural therapies solutions. The first printed issue was mailed to over 5000 doctors in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Israel and New Zealand.

Former Monkee and 1960s pop idol, actor and writer Peter Tork announced in March 2009 he had Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and was operated on at NY's famed Sloan-Kettering hospital to remove a cancerous tumor. He will soon begin both radiation treatments and a summer tour.

Peter Tork, 67, (The Monkees, actor, advice columnist, Two Man Band with singer/songwriter James Lee Stanley) is touring with his rock-blues band, Shoe Suede Blues ("Saved By The Blues", "Cambria Hotel") this spring and summer, despite extensive surgery in early March 2009 to remove a cancerous tumor from the lower part of his tongue. After announcing he had a rare form of cancer known as Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, Tork had surgery in New York where the tumor was successfully and completely removed, although his surgeon had to take his jaw apart in order to reach and remove it. Two weeks after the operation, he was leading a film crew from Inside Edition around his farm, and talking openly about this newest challenge in his life.

The ad campaign is sponsored by California Equality NOW, an advocacy group comprised of independent filmmakers, to promote equal marriage rights. The PSA's are currently airing on websites such as Youtube.com and Myspace.com. The Difference has been in the "Top Plays" category on myspace.com since its release.

The video is titled "Hum Barik Tum Pita Hamare, Tum Mukh Devo Kheera" and is available for free on the mission's websites.

This video covers the love between God (Satguru) and His devotee (Sikh) as Father and child. This unique video cites many references to this relationship from the Gurbani of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Sri Guru Ram Das Ji as enshrined in Living Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib, and explains them in an easy to understand manner. The title of the video is taken from Sri Guru Granth Sahib and translated it means - "I am Thine child and Thou art my Father. Thou puttest milk into my mouth."
