We found this site while looking for information on the Medicine Buddha, and we can't stress enough what a wonderful site we think this is. Shenpen Ösel is a tri-annual publication of Kagyu Shenpen Ösel Chöling, a center for the study and practice of Tibetan vajrayana Buddhism located in Seattle, Washington. This site contains complete copies of many of the publications back issues in PDF format. If you're at all interested in Tibetan Buddhism, you owe it to yourself to spend some time here. BTW, the excellent material on the Medicine Buddha can be fount in Volume 4, Issues 1 and 2.

Although this site claims to be "the myspace system designed for Wiccans / Pagans, Goths, Vamps and all others," they'll have a hard time attracting such a diverse crowd to their site with their name. Many Pagans, other than Wiccans, get tired of having the entire Pagan community filed under the sub-category of Wicca. Actually, it should be the other way around, since Wicca is a sub-group of Paganism. This may be a small point - but it's one worth noting.
The site also needs to invest in a good web designer. Much of the text is dark grey on a light grey background, making the site difficult to read.
Now that we're through bitching, we'd like to add that we think the site shows much promise - and we wish them well. We'll leave this one unrated for the time being, until they have a chance to straighten out the kinks.

This site is just too cool - and we're sure that we'll be going there often. Here's the deal: you can go to this site and order anything you want from the Universe, absolutely free. What a great magickal idea, we figure. The store that owns AlternativeApproaches.com is having some financial difficulties right now due to the state of the economy, so we just ordered $1,200 in business for next week. Wow! We feel better already. We can already see those bills being paid.
Don't laugh - for this is sound magickal theory. We'll betcha that our income will go up next week. Imagine, if 100,000 of us ordered world peace on the same day...

We can't tell you if this is a good site or not, because we can't use it. On one computer that we tried to view this site on, we could navigate the site just fine, but we couldn't view all of any page because the site requires plug-ins that weren't installed on that Linux box. No problem, we figured, and went to a Windows machine with the latest and greatest version of Firefox that has the needed plug-ins installed. Well, the site loaded beautifully, but the Java plug-ins were so erratic that they made the page pretty much unusable. Until the webmaster gets this site fixed so it works on most computers, we're leaving this site unrated and don't recommend that you visit it.

How cool is this? Now you don't have to worry about looking ignorant because you don't pronounce "athame" correctly. Also, now you can finally find out exactly what a boline is. As the name implies, words are actually spoken, so there's no need for guessing. However, if you're surfing on an old 486 with no sound card, not to worry, there is also an on screen pronunciation guide, just like in your old copy of Websters. We appreciate the work that these folks have done to produce this. This is a great asset for our community. We give it Five out of Five Stars!

Did you know that the Knights Templar still exists? Neither did we. It had been our understanding that this group had been reduced to legend ages ago when a French king had called in his SWAT teams on them - mainly to get out of paying debts owed. But here they are, in all of their glory on the Internet. They must really be Knights Templar, because they couldn't claim this on the Internet if it wasn't so. Anyway, go to their site and see what you think. Report back to us. The Illumanati wants answers, and they want them now.

This very cool sites claims to be the #1 site on the Internet devoted to things ghostly. All we can say is the site is extremely cool and visiting it is a haunting experience. Not only do we like this site's contents, we're fascinated by the ghostbusting sort of stuff they offer for sale. Yep, you too can be a Ghostbuster with your very own EMF/ELF Electromagnetic Field Tester or Ghost Meter. How cool is that? So, who ya gonna call? Ghost Village! We give it Five out of Five Stars.

Although this site is aimed primarily at what we lovingly refer to as "New Age bliss ninnies," it's not without merit. The primary purpose of the site is to sell stuff, but they do have some interesting articles on stress reduction. We suggest that you go to this site at least once, just to get a free Angel Card reading. We give it Two out of Five Stars.
